Jonathan Mitchell Cook, D.O., FAAFP

Dr. Cook is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his degree of Osteopathic medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He competed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

He practiced for seven years in Little Rock, Arkansas before moving to the Athens area.

Dr. Cook is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Cook views the mission of this practice as a Christian ministry. His desire to provide quality, patient-centered care, with emphasis on the values of service, honesty, respect, stewardship and performance in an atmosphere of Christian compassion and personal concern.

Quartisha "Q"

Quartisha "Q" is the front office coordinator. She schedules appointments, referrals, and is the primary person who speaks with patients. Quartisha is a certified medical assistant and is studying to become a registered nurse.

Christine "Chris"

Christine "Chris" is a certified medical assistant. She works in the back office with Hayli and Dr. Cook. She will room patients, check vital signs, review medications and pertinent history. Chris assists Dr. Cook with female GYN exams and other patient procedures. She is married, has 2 dogs and is expecting in March 2020!
